• Overall dimensions: 19.5 cm long (top to bottom) (approx. 7.68 inches), 22 cm wide (left to right) (approx. 8.66 inches).
  Individual tile slots: 3.5 cm x 2.5 cm (approx. 1.38 inches x 0.98 inches).
• Suitable for mahjong tiles with a size of 3.5 x 2.5 cm or smaller.

How It Works

Setup

Draw 13 tiles from the bag and arrange them as you like (using a rack is optional).

The Charleston

• First round – Discard 3 tiles face down onto the R spaces (first row). Replenish your hand with 3 tiles from the bag.
• Second round – Discard 3 tiles onto the O spaces (second row, first 3 spaces). Replenish your hand with 3 tiles from the bag.
• Third round – Draw 3 more tiles and add them to your rack. A blind pass is optional on this round.
• Final round – Choose how many tiles to discard (0–3) and place them on the L spaces. Replenish exactly that many tiles from the bag.

Two Options After the Charleston

Stop – Proceed to the Courtesy Pass (see below).

Continue – Discard another 3 tiles onto the L spaces (top row), then repeat the same 4‑round Charleston pattern (with an optional blind pass on the last round). After that, go to the Courtesy Pass.

Courtesy Pass

Choose 0–3 tiles to discard, place them on spaces marked 1–3, and replenish your hand with an equal number of tiles from the bag.

Reset

Empty all tiles from the board back into the bag and shuffle thoroughly.

Gameplay

Draw one tile from the bag, then discard a tile (either the drawn tile or another from your hand) face up into an empty space on the board. Fill spaces one by one.

Winning

Form a valid Mahjong hand before all 24 spaces are filled. After the 24th space is filled, you may draw one more tile (the “Tile of Last Resort”) – for a total of 25 turns. If you complete a Mahjong within those 25 turns, you win!
